The Ghana National Fire Service has announced that there was another industrial fire- a warehouse fire- at Tema Industrial Area involving a "Take Away" and Rubber Warehouse and Factory in the early hours of Tuesday, August 4.
According to the fire service, four fire tenders drawn from Tema Industrial, Devtraco, Motorway and Free Zones Fire Stations were at the scene to contain the fire, which started at 12:40AM.
Unfortunately, the service said "some firefighters sustained some injuries, including portions of the wall falling on a firefighter.
" He is Currently being Treated at the Tema General Hospital."
The fire has finally been extinguished, but Firefighters are still at the scene salvaging and overhauling.
The service described the inferno as "a commercial fire at Tema Industrial Area."
