Amidaus plot to ditch Kotoko’s title hopes
Amidaus Professionals coach Tony Lokko says he will avenge last Sunday’s defeat to Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup when both sides meet in the final game of the Glo Premier League.
The Tema-based club suffered a 3-1 loss to Kotoko after taking an early lead at the Accra Sports Stadium, which the Porcupine Warriors cancelled with a brace by Ransford Osei and a goal by Kofi Nti-Boakye to put their side in the final.

Minister begs Essien to join Black Stars
Youth and Sports Minister, Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, has appealed to Ghanaian international Michael Essien to reconsider his decision to stay away from the senior national team and make a return to the team.
He said the nation needed him more than ever as the Black Stars continued their search for a place in the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Paintsil ponders England return
Former West Ham United, Fulham and Leicester City defender John Paintsil is hoping to secure a return to England this summer.
The Ghana international spent the 2012/13 campaign in Israel taking in a second spell with Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Veteran actress Grace Nortey celebrated
